Sheet contains four maps. Large hemispherical centre map, titled "Spherical projection, world, the Geographical Publishing Co. engravers and publishers Chicago", depicts the world, centred around the Americas. Relief shown by hachures. Shows time zones, currents, and major routes, including routes of exploration. Antarctica is divided into four quadrants, with explanatory note. At bottom centre of map is copyright information, dated 1906. To the upper left and right of the map are portraits of R. L. Borden, K. C., and James Whitney, prime minister of Canada and premier of Ontario, respectively. Hemispherical map to the lower left of world map shows the Northern Hemisphere, or Arctic regions. Hemispherical map to the lower right shows the Southern Hemisphere, or Antarctic regions. Bottom map depicts the Panama Canal and surrounding area. Relief shown pictorially. Map is damaged along bottom, obscuring most of the text relating to the Panama map. Coloured. Bordered along sides and top by portraits of heads of states and governments, associated flags, and brief information. Recto side of a double sided document.
